The free Amazon Feedback Manager requires an email address but no account, checkout or licence key. We send a 24-hour encrypted verification link. The address is recorded in our business mailbox only after the link is confirmed and the download begins. It is not automatically added to a newsletter or marketing list; marketing consent would be requested separately.
The download form keeps short-lived security records to limit repeated requests and prevent a one-time link from being reused. These records do not contain the submitted email address or the full IP address and are deleted after 48 hours. Normal hosting and email logs may still record the IP address, browser, requested page and time.
Installed self-hosted products run on the user's own server. They do not contact sitelead or send us usage information. sitelead does not receive the customer's marketplace or Xero connection details, orders, invoices, feedback comments or seller responses.
WooCommerce Xero Invoices connects the customer's own WordPress site directly to Xero. Its Client Secret and rotating connection tokens are encrypted before WordPress stores them. The structured invoice uses a configured sales contact rather than sending customer contact records. If the customer enables PDF attachment, the invoice PDF produced by their WordPress site is sent to their Xero organisation and may contain the billing details shown by that PDF template.
If you paste a payout or VAT report into the live Payout Splitter demo, its contents are sent to our server over HTTPS and processed in memory to return the result. The application does not deliberately save the pasted report or result. Normal server security logs may record when the page was used, the IP address and browser details, but the application does not write the report itself to those logs.
Marketplace reports can contain order IDs and financial information. Use the supplied samples, or remove personal or confidential data before testing. The purchased self-hosted product processes reports on the customer's own server instead.
We use personal information when it is needed to provide what you bought or asked for, to take requested steps before a purchase, to meet a legal obligation, or to operate and protect the service in a reasonable way. These are the legal bases known as contract, pre-contract steps, legal obligation and legitimate interests. Where the law requires consent, we ask for it separately.
We use service providers only where needed to run the business, including Stripe for checkout and payments, our website hosting and email providers, Google for consented advertising measurement, and professional advisers. We may disclose records to public authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.
Purchase, licence and tax records are normally kept for at least six years to meet legal and accounting requirements. Support emails are kept only while they remain useful for the request, licence or dispute.
Routine server logs are kept for a shorter operational period unless a record is needed to investigate abuse or a security incident. Security records used by the free-download form are deleted after 48 hours. Records of verified download emails are normally kept for up to 24 months so we can administer the download and provide related support.
The public site does not load Google Ads measurement unless you choose “Allow measurement” in the banner. If you allow it, Google may use cookies or similar storage to attribute visits and purchases to ads. If you reject it, the Google tag is not loaded and buying or using the site is unaffected. You can reopen Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice.
The site may use strictly necessary security or checkout functions, including a temporary security cookie on the free-download form. Stripe applies its own privacy and cookie practices on its hosted checkout. Google and other providers may process data outside the UK; where that happens we rely on the safeguards required by UK data-protection law. Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an objection to processing. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Contact us first at ln3@sitelead.co.uk and we will respond without undue delay.
